1. Hi-Time Wine Cellars 250 Ogle St., Costa Mesa; 800-331-3005; hitimewine.net Hi-Time Wine Cellars is a family-owned retail store founded by Fritz Hanson and his brother-in-law, Jim McVay. Hi-Time opened its cellar doors in 1957 at its original location at 17th Street and Irvine Avenue in Costa Mesa. In 1984, they moved to their Ogle Street location in Costa Mesa. Here they built one of the largest underground temperature-controlled wine cellars in the country. Hi-Time is the picture of a family business.
