First, though, the view from 30,000 feet: A recent poll conducted for the California Sober Living and Recovery Task Force found that half of California voters favor more local government control over sober living and addiction treatment homes — before any campaign to try to convince them it's necessary. 'You have support,' pollster Adam Probolsky told the panel. 'The public is on your side in broadening the scope of regulations.
